Section 1: Wholeness

Our exploration of the holofractal nature of the cosmos is based upon three components that combine to describe one phenomenon: universal dynamics of energy and matter manifesting in physical form and flow. These components are Cosmometry (patterns, structures, processes and systems found at all scales), Unified Physics (a theoretical framework that unifies quantum and relativistic forces and scientific disciplines), and Music (a universal system of harmonic relationships of resonance) — three lenses through which we can look at one whole system.

Perhaps the most overarching theme and fundamental principle of this exploration is that of wholeness. Dictionary definitions include words to define wholeness (or whole) such as complete, total, entire, full, undivided, intact. As a noun, a whole is “an assemblage of parts associated or viewed together as one thing; a unitary system.” While the cosmos is indeed whole in this way, it is also whole in ways not included in standard definitions that lie at the very foundation of the conceptual map of cosmometry and, when fully understood, provide us a more fundamental framework upon which to describe the nature of reality in its wholeness. These are the concepts of Holographic, Fractal and Synergetic wholeness.
